Catalog description

Intensive course on the culture of Puerto Rico in which the classroom has no walls. On-site lectures will be given throughout the two-week program on the island. The main objective of this course is to transport students to another culture so that intellectual learning is replaced with a visual and authentic understanding of the people, places, ideas, art, and events that transformed Puerto Rico and impacted the world on a cultural, social and historical level.
