Catalog description

This capstone will explore key existential themes including death and transience, freedom and responsibility, meaning of life, and interpersonal connection. Existential perspectives on time, thoughts, feelings, and actions will be explored. We will also discuss the role that scientific research has (or has not) played in supporting, discrediting, or helping to reformulate key existential ideas. Integrated Writing course. Prerequisite(s): Undergraduate level PSY 3020 Minimum Grade of D (PSY 3020 can be taken concurrently) or Undergraduate level PSY 3030 Minimum Grade of D (PSY 3030 can be taken concurrently) Course Level: Undergraduate Schedule Type(s): Lecture Course Attribute(s): Integrated Writing Grade Mode: Standard
