Catalog description

This course will build on the fundamental epidemiologic concepts introduced in PPH 7020: Public Health Epidemiology I. This course will provide a more advanced discussion of concepts such as causality, bias (confounding, collider bias, selection bias, and information bias), study design, interaction, effect modification, and mediation. In addition, this course will provide opportunities to apply these concepts through an epidemiologic study design, data analysis, and presentation of results. Prerequisite(s): Graduate level PPH 7010 Minimum Grade of B and Graduate level PPH 7020 Minimum Grade of B
