Incorporates theory and practice to develop an understanding about 1) health behaviors; 2) the deliberate approach for promoting health behavior change through health interventions; 3) the types of health behavior interventions; 4) the processes of planning, implementing and evaluating health appropriate interventions to promote health behavior change within populations.
