Catalog description
This course is required for the Physics, MS (Thesis Option) program. The purpose of this course is to complete a research project, prepare a thesis, and successfully defend the thesis. There are no formal assignments in this course. In consultation with the course instructor and Thesis Advisor, students develop a personal work schedule with specified deliverables. The thesis document must be submitted to the Thesis Committee and after a successful defense, the manuscript undergoes revision and is submitted to the graduate school for approval.
