Catalog description

Provides the nurse practitioner with knowledge and skills needed to deliver primary health care to women, children and adolescents in multiple settings. Emphasizes the application of problem identification and management, health promotion, and client and family counseling. Clinical and supervised lab experiences focus on foundations of nurse practitioner practice, initial role identification and opportunity to apply classroom and core content. Prerequisite(s): Graduate level NUR 7102 Minimum Grade of C and Graduate level NUR 7103 Minimum Grade of C and Graduate level NUR 7104 Minimum Grade of C
