Catalog description

Examines theories and strategies of leadership and management for the practice of professional nursing while incorporating safety and quality improvement initiatives and improving quality patient outcomes. Application of leadership concepts, skills, and decision-making in the provision of nursing care, team coordination, and participation in evidence-based improvement/change projects. Fieldwork provides opportunity for professional immersion experience.
