Catalog description

Integrates population-based concepts to assess populations. Emphasizes all levels of prevention to promote health of individuals, families, and groups; including lifestyle and genetic factors impacting population health. Examines global aspects of the demographic, social, political, legal-ethical, and environmental issues influencing health care and health policy. Fieldwork provides opportunities for the professional nurse to provide and coordinate care among vulnerable populations.
