Integrates nursing and public health concepts/trends to assess population health. Stresses primary, secondary, and tertiary prevention for the health of individuals, families, and groups including lifestyle and genetic factors affecting population health. Examines global aspects of the social, political, legal-ethical, and environmental issues influencing health care and health policy. Prerequisite(s): Undergraduate level NUR 3300 Minimum Grade of C and Undergraduate level NUR 3440 Minimum Grade of C and Undergraduate level NUR 3460 Minimum Grade of C Corequisite(s): NUR4421
