Public Health Nursing in the Political System

Catalog description

Integrates nursing and public health concepts/trends to assess population health. Stresses primary, secondary, and tertiary prevention for the health of individuals, families, and groups including lifestyle and genetic factors affecting population health. Examines global aspects of the social, political, legal-ethical, and environmental issues influencing health care and health policy.
