Catalog description

Introduces nursing theories with emphasis on interprofessional, intraprofessional, and patient-centered communication skills, the lab and clinical experiences basic to clinical practice, critical reasoning, and the application of health assessment skills in the clinical setting. (3 didactic hrs; 2 clinical hrs; 2 lab hrs) Prerequisite(s): Undergraduate level SOC 2000 Minimum Grade of C (SOC 2000 can be taken concurrently) and Undergraduate level NUR 2100 Minimum Grade of C and Undergraduate level NUR 3100 Minimum Grade of C (NUR 3100 can be taken concurrently) and Undergraduate level HLT 3400 Minimum Grade of C (HLT 3400 can be taken concurrently) Corequisite(s): NUR2400C
