Catalog description

An overview of theoretical, rhythmic, compositional, and applied improvisational components of jazz harmonic language. Students apply course concepts on a primary or secondary instrument in a performance medium. Prerequisite(s): (Undergraduate level MUS 1010 Minimum Grade of D or Undergraduate level MUS 1020 Minimum Grade of D) and (Undergraduate level MUS 1510 Minimum Grade of D and Undergraduate level MUS 1520 Minimum Grade of D)
