Catalog description
Algebraic principles and linear functions are reviewed with respect to their usage in middle school classrooms. Polynomial, rational, exponential, logarithmic, and trigonometric functions are studied from a perspective appropriate for a middle school teacher. Students explore how properties of functions appear in various representations by means of technological tools. Prerequisite(s): Undergraduate level MTH 1280 Minimum Grade of C or WSU Math Placement 05
