Catalog description
This course studies energy and energy conversion from the classical thermodynamics perspective. Properties of fluids, conservation of mass, conservation of energy, and the second law of thermodynamics are studied. These principles are applied to engineering problems. Department Managed Prerequisite(s): (Undergraduate level EGR 1010 Minimum Grade of C or Undergraduate level MTH 2310 Minimum Grade of C (MTH 2310 can be taken concurrently)) and Undergraduate level PHY 2400 Minimum Grade of C
