First-Year Seminar: College of Liberal Arts

Catalog description

Each year, first-year students explore an issue of current importance from the perspective of different liberal arts disciplines. In addition, students hone key analytical and communication skills necessary for academic success in the liberal arts. Through a common read, film screening, and structured dialogs, students interact with each other and the greater campus community.
