Fitness Assessment and Exercise Programming During Cancer Treatment

This course is designed to provide the student with a scientific basis and practical application for exercise prescription and assessment in individuals who are battling cancer. Health risk appraisal, cancer-specific assessments, behavior modification, and exercise prescription in a cancer population will be discussed. This curriculum will culminate in the student sitting for the national Exercise Oncology Instructor certification exam.
