FinTech is an abbreviation for Financial Technology, which refers to the use of cutting-edge technological and other methods in the financial sector. This course covers the history and practical applications of FinTech, including cryptocurrencies and blockchain related technologies, payment processing, peer-to-peer lending, crowdfunding, big and alternative financial data, machine learning, risk pricing and adverse selection, or other emergent areas. Prerequisite(s): Undergraduate level MS 2040 Minimum Grade of D and Undergraduate level FIN 2210 Minimum Grade of D Course Level: Undergraduate Schedule Type(s): Lecture Grade Mode: Standard
