Advanced Writing for the Public

Catalog description

Provides students with instruction on developing a longform professional project for publication or another form of public distribution. Students will complete readings, participate in workshops, and undertake classroom activities that relay best practices when it comes to selecting topics, mediums, and audiences; project planning; and researching, drafting, revising, editing, and presenting materials that adhere to professional standards.
