Physical, chemical, and biological methods used to remediate contamination in soils and groundwater, emphasizing practical applications. Strategies and technologies to address contamination, including the natural attenuation, containment techniques, pump-and-treat, and in situ technologies. Sufficient technical detail so the student can apply basic engineering design equations.
