Subsurface Fluid Flow

Catalog description

Physical processes underlying the movement of fluids through the porous subsurface. Transport of particulates and solutes, including contaminants within ground water flow regimes, and the flow of oil, gas and brine in georeservoirs. Emphasis on quantitative problem solving. 3 hours lecture/ 2 hours lab.
