History and legal aspects of the petroleum business including lease acquisition, assignment of working interests, overriding royalties, etc. Petroleum geology, oil and gas exploration techniques, geology of oil producing regions, well drilling, well log interpretation, enhanced oil and gas recovery, CO2 sequestration, production equipment, oil and gas sales and marketing.
