Catalog description

The course introduces the fundamental principles of antenna theory, covering radiation integrals, auxiliary potential functions, fundamental parameters of antennas, linear wire antennas, loop antennas, antenna arrays, microstrip antennas, and traveling wave antennas. Antenna teaching lab will be developed to assist students to learn the design, fabrication, and characterization of various types antenna. Prerequisite(s): Graduate level EE 6420 Minimum Grade of C Corequisite(s): EE7490L
