Catalog description

Direct solution of Maxwell’s differential equations in the time domain using the finite-difference time-domain (FTDT) method. Absorbing boundary conditions and waveguide or plane wave excitation methods. Application to the solution of problems relevant to radiation, radar cross section (or scattering) and microwave circuit design. Wave equation and integral implementation. Application of one-and two-dimensional EM problems. Comparison with the finite element method.
