Master’s Thesis Research in Data Science

Catalog description

Students in DS 7950 will conduct a research project that involves developing a contemporary research question followed by a combination of literature review; experimental design; collection, curation, and analysis of data; and critical evaluation of outcomes. The final product of the course is a thesis document of archival quality. A Master’s Thesis should constitute an original contribution to the body of knowledge within the discipline.
