Qualitative examination of the consequences of data collection and analytics on corporations, governments, people, and society at large. Legal structures for the collection and study of data. Studies of current social, ethical, legal, and philosophical topics surrounding data science, which may include people analytics, wearable sensors, data breaches, customer, user, voter, and human profiling, and surveillance through data.
