Theory-orientated approach to the application of contemporary algorithms to bioinformatics. Graph theory, complexity theory, dynamic programming and optimization techniques applied to solving specific computational problems in molecular genetics. Prerequisite(s): (Undergraduate level CS 3810 Minimum Grade of D or Undergraduate level BIO 3810 Minimum Grade of D) and Undergraduate level CS 3100 Minimum Grade of D
