Catalog description

Acquaints students with preventive mental health, advocacy roles, legal and ethical issues, and interdisciplinary approaches to community mental health. Prepares clinical mental health counseling graduate students with knowledge and skills that will prepare them for field-experience (i.e., practicum and internship) and practicing as a professional (clinical) counselor in community mental health settings and systems. Prerequisite(s): Graduate level CNL 6010 Minimum Grade of B and Graduate level CNL 6020 Minimum Grade of B and Graduate level CNL 6030 Minimum Grade of B
