Catalog description

Students will learn the major concepts in cloud computing and large-scale data intensive parallel processing. They will learn to use existing cloud computing platforms (e.g., Amazon EC2) to solve large-scale data intensive problems. They will also learn to program with large-scale parallel processing methods (e.g., mapreduce). Department Managed Prerequisite(s): Undergraduate level CS 5100 Minimum Grade of C and Undergraduate level CEG 6350 Minimum Grade of C
