Basic principles of linear independence, spanning sets, bases, and dimension. Linear transformations, matrix representations of linear transformations, and determinants. Spectral theory of square matrices, Jordan canonical form. Perron-Frobenius results on positive matrices. Prerequisite(s): Undergraduate level MTH 2530 Minimum Grade of D and Undergraduate level MTH 2800 Minimum Grade of D
