Catalog description

For students who are interested in acquiring a broad-based knowledge in the human factors of medical instrumentation and devices. Approaches the design and implementation of medical technology from the perspective of patient safety and product usability. Topics to be covered will range from design guideline considerations, tools for usability analysis, and emerging trends and technologies. Department Managed Prerequisite(s): Graduate level IHE 6300 Minimum Grade of C or Undergraduate level ISE 4300 Minimum Grade of D
