Analog and digital linear systems concepts applied to biomedical engineering. Topics include signals, functions, and time-domain operations; Fourier transform and Laplace transform; steady-state frequency response and analog filter design; discrete signals and discrete Fourier transform; z-transform and frequency response of digital systems; digital IIR and FIR filter design. Prerequisite(s): (Undergraduate level BME 3511 Minimum Grade of D or Undergraduate level ISE 3511 Minimum Grade of D) and Undergraduate level BME 3540 Minimum Grade of D
