Introduction to the study of birds. Covers a range of scales, including evolution, phylogenetics, anatomy and physiology, life history, global ecology, and conservation of birds. Builds skills for identification of birds by sight and sound. Requires transportation to local field sites. Includes a weekend field trip. Corequisite(s): BIO6720L
