Catalog description

Topics in financial statement analysis and firm valuation suitable for undergraduate accounting students. Focus in this course is on applying methods to analyze firm strategies using financial statement analysis. Relevant for assessing value generated by various strategic scenarios. Students work together in small groups, using the financial statements of public firms, to practice applying analysis techniques learned in class. Prerequisite(s): Undergraduate level ACC 3020 Minimum Grade of C and Undergraduate level ACC 3430 Minimum Grade of D and BUS Tier II Complete 11 (the following must be completed: ACC 2010, 2020; EC 2040, 2050; EC 1050 or MTH 2280; ENG 1100, 2100; FIN 2210; MKT 2500; MS 2040, 2050) Course Level: Undergraduate Schedule Type(s): Lecture Grade Mode: Standard/Pass/Unsat
