Catalog description

This course introduces students to exploratory data analysis using examples from the built environment and natural environment (e.g., energy, water, and transportation systems). Students will learn how to load, clean, analyze, visualize, and interpret real-world datasets using Python. The course also introduces geographic information systems (GIS) concepts via code-based workflows to promote reproducible spatial analysis. Recommended Background: None.
