PRACTICUM: CROSS CATEGORICAL LICENSURE

Catalog description

This practicum experience provides teacher candidates experience in using assessments, applying evidence-based practices in instruction, managing behavior, working with families and community agencies, gaining experience with diverse learners with disabilities, teaching in different service delivery models across the special education continuum, and reflecting on how, when, and why specific evidence-based practices are implemented. Teacher candidates will explore respective roles and responsibilities of special education personnel. Teacher candidates will complete all special education department requirements. COREQ: SPECED 680
