Catalog description

Students will study in depth selected novels and short stories from the beginning of the Spanish American new narrative in the 1940's through its "boom" in the 1960's, to the present. Different works and/or authors will be studied each term the course is offered. PREREQ: NINE CREDITS OF 300 LEVEL SPANISH, THREE OF WHICH MUST BE FROM A SPANISH LITERATURE OR A SPANISH AMERICAN LITERATURE CLASS
