Catalog description

This course covers the principles, assessments, approaches, and strategies used in reading interventions for emerging and beginning readers who may be at risk for reading difficulty. These principles include phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension. The development of individualized and small group reading programs designed to match student needs will be addressed. PREREQ: READING 360 OR READING 361
