This course offers an in-depth investigation of contemporary racial-ethnic issues through experiential learning. The course combines scholarly readings, lectures, and discussions with hands-on assignments that occur "beyond the classroom," such as field trips, research, online engagement, service learning, or community-based projects. PREREQ: 3 UNITS OF SOCIOLGY OR MINIMUM SOPHOMORE STANDING OR INSTRUCTOR CONSENT
