Catalog description

An in-depth overview of the core theories, scientific methods, and major research findings for studying young children. Multiple aspects of early child development, including neurological/cognitive and social/emotional development from infancy through middle childhood, are considered. The approach to these topics is scientific, with an emphasis on recent research findings in developmental psychology. PREREQ: PSYCH 216 AND PSYCH 330
