LEADING GROUPS AND ORGANIZATIONS: ORGANIZATIONAL PSYCHOLOGY

Organizational Psychology applies psychological methods and principles to understand how interactions among individuals, groups, and the broader social context impact organizations. By examining topics such as motivation, leadership, inter-group dynamics, conflict, and negotiation, this course will prepare students to lead successful groups and organizations. This course involved readings, lectures, experiential exercises, and placement at an organization within the community. Organizational placements involve a minimum commitment of two hours per week (equivalent to 30 hours of service-learning experience). PREREQ: (MINIMUM JUNIOR STANDING AND PSY 202 ) OR INSTRUCTOR CONSENT
