Catalog description

An internship is designed to give students the opportunity to apply the knowledge and skills they have learned in Psychology courses to a professional or community-based institution. The internship will involve a psychology-related placement at an off-campus institution and will be supervised by a faculty advisor. The internship is intended for advanced students with prior Psychology coursework. Requirements include a final report summarizing how their experiences reflect classroom learning and how it will influence their future work and any other course work agreed upon by the student and faculty advisor at the beginning of the course. PREREQ: PSY 202 AND CONSENT OF INSTRUCTOR
