Procedures for organizing, planning, and directing middle/secondary instrumental groups of various types are presented. Problems of student retention, concert presentation, music contest, tours, and establishing a unified instrumental program for the entire school system are addressed with solutions offered. PREREQ: MUSED 437 AND PASS PIANO PROFICIENCY COREQ: CIFLD 492 , RESTRICTED TO STUDENTS WITH PROFESSIONAL ED ADMISSION
