MUSIC EDUCATION PEDAGOGY WITH FIELD OBSERVATION

Catalog description

This course is designed to prepare choral and instrumental music education students to successfully teach and administer an elementary and/or middle school choral or instrumental performance program. A wide variety of topics will be covered, representing the diversity of roles and expectations placed upon public-school choral or instrumental music educators. Readings will be drawn from various text sources, utilizing Andersen Library materials and instructor's personal library. PREREQ: MUSED 160 AND MUSED 289 AND MUSED 359
