VASCULAR SONOGRAPHY I

Catalog description

This course is the study of vascular anatomy, physiology, hemodynamics, waveform analysis, and treatment of vascular disease. This course will stress the importance of clinical history, physical assessment, and appropriate exam protocol. Emphasis will be placed on carotid duplex imaging, upper and lower extremity arterial and venous duplex imaging, and ankle brachial indices.
