This course begins students' study of radiographic production, equipment, and properties of ionizing radiation. Units of measurement, concept of energy, structure of matter, and the X-ray tube are covered. Beginning concepts of technical factors are introduced. PREREQ: ACCEPTED INTO MEDICAL SCIENCES - RADIOLOGIC TECHNOLOGY EMPHASIS
