A study of the essential functions and strategic importance of Human Resource Management (HRM). Students are introduced to core practices including job analysis and design, recruitment and selection, training and development, performance management, compensation and benefits, and the legal environment of HR. Emphasis is placed on applying HRM concepts to real organizational challenges. PREREQ: MINIMUM SOPHOMORE STANDING AND 2.00 CUMULATIVE GPA
