Introduction to the study of Latinx peoples and communities in the United States and to the interdisciplinary field of Latinx Studies. This class critically analyzes the diversity of Latinx histories, identities, communities, and experiences by reviewing recent scholarly literature and other culturally relevant materials. We will explore concepts, theories, and social issues at the core of Latinx Studies.(SBS, SBS-E)
