Catalog description

This course focuses on developing students' knowledge and abilities to summarize large data sets using appropriate visualization tools. The students will also learn how to use visuals to discover and describe relationships among elements in a business environment. The topics covered include: an introduction to a variety of visuals and their applications; data communication and reporting principles; and the manipulation of large data sets and creation of effective visuals using cutting-edge software tools. PREREQ: MUST BE ADMITTED TO A COBE GRADUATE DEGREE OR CERTIFICATE PROGRAM
