Catalog description
This course provides an introduction to the major methods used in the data mining of quantified data and artificial intelligence to support business analytics. Students will learn and apply an understanding of classification, association, prediction methods, and deep learning neural networks. The role of understanding the data in the context of the organization, its ethical implications, and its environment will be examined. PREREQ: ITSCM 180 AND ITSCM 230 AND ((COBE MAJOR: 2.50 CUMULATIVE GPA) OR (NON-COBE MAJOR/MINOR/COBE MINOR: 60 CREDITS AND 2.00 CUMULATIVE GPA))
