Catalog description

History of Hellenistic world and culture after the death of Alexander III in 323 BCE. Study the history of the Greek and non-Greek peoples in Mediterranean Europe, the Near East, and North Africa. The course examines Hellenistic history and culture through the period of Roman conquest and subjugation including the contributions of the people of the Hellenistic world. (HA, HA-H)
