Catalog description

This course provides higher education leaders with the knowledge and skills to design, implement, and apply assessment and program evaluation strategies that drive institutional improvement and student success. Students will critically examine assessment/eval methodologies, stakeholder engagement, and data-informed decision-making to navigate the increasingly complex challenges facing colleges and universities. Emphasizing equity, accountability, and continuous improvement, this course prepares students to collect, analyze, and interpret data to enhance programs, policies, and institutional effectiveness. Through applied projects, students will develop the ability to conduct high-quality assessments, evaluate program outcomes, and translate findings into actionable leadership strategies that align with institutional goals/priorities.
